Victory earned through sacrifice of enormous bloodshed.  After oppressing the freedom seeking of this land the Pakistani attacking force surrendered to the people on the very day (16 December 1971). After a huge 9th month of armed struggle,  sacrificing a lot of lives and bloodshed , valiant  Bengali's  claimed the victory on this day. Long live National Victory Day! Long live Our Beautiful Motherland Bangladesh ! Proud to be a Bangladeshi!
