During a child's developmental years, they are constantly growing and changing, it is imperative to note that one must keep this in mind when diagnosing and treating emotional and behavioral disorders in children . Health professionals once thought that brain disorders such as Bipolar disorders, or even depression occurred after childhood but now, if is widely held that these brain disorders can begin in early childhood. According to the National Institute of Mental health (NIMH), emotional and behavioral disorders affect 10 to 15 percent of children globally. Types of Disorders Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) This disorders is one of the most common mental disorders among children, and two to three more boys than girls are affected. Many children unable to sit still , finish tasks , plan ahead or even be around them . ADHD can continue on into adolescence and even adulthood. It's something toddlers and children need to learn to make and keep friends and play cooperatively. HELPING YOUR CHILD LEARN ABOUT SHARING: Once your child starts having playdates and going to child care , preschool or kindergarten he'll need to be able to share with others. Child often take their cues from what they see their parents doing. As parents you give your children a great example to follow.  Children also need opportunities to learn about and practice sharing in everyday life

The   social and emotional development of children and teenagers which continues into adulthood . Emotional development : Emotional development is the emergence of a child's experience, expression, understanding, and regulations of emotions from birth through late adolescence. It also comprises how growth and changes in these processes concerning emotions occur. What is Social - Emotional development ? Positive and nurturing early experiences and relationships have a significant impact on a child's social - emotional development. They also influence how the young child's brain develops. An attachment relationship is an enduring one that develops during the first few years of the child's life. Erikson's Eight stages of development by  psychiatrist , Erik Erikson in 1956. What are Voice, Speech and Language? Voice, Speech and Language are the tools we use to communicate with each other. VOICE: is the sound we make as air from our lungs is pushed between vocal folds in our Larynx , Causing them to vibrate. SPEECH: is talking , which is one way to express language. It involves the precisely coordinated muscle actions of the tongue, lips, jaw , and vocal tract to produce the recognizable sounds that make up language. LANGUAGE: is a set of shared rules that allow people to express verbally or by writing, singing or making other gestures , such as eye blinking or mouth movement. How do Speech and Language develop? The first 3 years of life ,when the brain in developing and maturing , is the most intensive period for acquiring speech and language skills. These skills develop best a world that is rich with sounds, sights and consistent exposure to the speech and others. There appear to be critical periods for speech and language development
